While developing or examining any electronic devices it is often necessary to measure the signal parameters or to record and decode them. A number of devices are used to solve these problems: oscilloscope, spectral analyzer, logger, logical analyzer/generator. As usual, any of these devices requires a free interface cutoff point and is provided with its own power supply. Moreover, the professional measurement equipment is often too expensive not only for a radio-amateur, but as well for the very large enterprises. So as to solve these problems we have developed a compact and an extremely cheap device combining all these functions - Usb oscilloscope - IRIS.
